What is Coupert Gold?

Coupert Gold is our free reward program, and there are two types of Gold.
When you shop at any of our participating sites, using the Coupert browser extension, you’ll earn a percentage back in Gold, and this Gold is called Cash Back Gold.
When you are using the Coupert browser extension, you can earn Coupert Gold by completing some Gold tasks in the Task Center, and this Gold is called Task Gold.
You may come across some other terminologies such as cash back, cash reward and so on, we all call it Coupert Gold in our reward program system.
Coupert Gold can be redeemed via PayPal. 100 Gold = $1 USD.

What is Task Gold and Cash Back Gold?

Cash Back Gold is what you earned by making purchases through Coupert extension in the online stores where Coupert offers cash back.
Task Gold is what you earned by doing tasks provided by Coupert when using Coupert extension such as daily check-ins, viewing hot deals, creating account, inviting friends etc.
Why do two types of Coupert Gold exist?
When we get a referral fee from your orders completed through Coupert, we directly share it with you as Cash back, namely Coupert Cash Back Gold, and of course you can redeem them directly via PayPal.

Apart form the traditional cash back, we introduced the Task Gold to reward you for using our product and encourage you to remain active.
However the cost for Coupert Task Gold is expensive, and our service is totally free, we can not make up the cost from retailers or affiliate networks or any other third parties.
So If you want to redeem the Task Gold, you need to earn some Cash Back Gold first.
Task Gold hold the same value as Cash Back Gold when they are converted to balance.
When you have Cash Back Gold in your account, your Cash Back Gold alongside with your Task Gold will automatically be converted into your balance by some rules, and you can withdraw the balance at any time.

How Can I earn Coupert Gold?

How to Earn Cash Back Gold? When you shop at any of our 7,000+ featured stores, you'll earn a percentage cash back in Cash Back Gold. Gold is rewarded on the purchase subtotal and does not include tax or any additional fees such as shipping.
If we offer cash back on a shopping site, you'll see the bar on the main interface:

To claim your Coupert Gold, click the Activate button.
Sometimes, Coupert may alert you to activate the cash back before you place your order.


Also, when the Coupert Auto-Test does not find a valid code, the the cash back offer will be displayed in the result page if we offer cash back for the store where you are shopping. Just click the Activate button.

After you activate the cash back, then shop as usual, Coupert Gold will appear as pending in your Account Overview within 1 - 14 days. Purchases will remain pending for 60 days (on average) while the merchant confirms your purchase and verifies that no items have been returned or refunded. If you do return part of your purchase, no worries--the amount of Gold you earn will adjust accordingly.
Note: using another Cash Back program will likely interfere with Coupert. We recommend disabling any other Cash Back program or ad-block extensions/programs to ensure you’re earning Coupert Gold on every eligible purchase. Once you’ve completed your purchase, you can re-activate your ad-block extension/programs :).

How is my current balance calculated?

100 Gold = $1 USD.
Your balance is automatically calculated based on the amount of confirmed Cash Back Gold and confirmed Task Gold by the formula above. The maximum amount of Task Gold that can be converted to balance is as much as the amount of Cash Back Gold.
For example, if you have 300 confirmed Cash Back Gold and 600 confirmed Task Gold, then 300 Cash Back Gold and up to 300 Task Gold can be exchanged into cash balance, which is $6.00 USD (300 Cash Back Gold+300 Task Gold).
If you have 600 confirmed Cash Back Gold and 300 Task Gold, then 600 Cash Back Gold and up to 600 Task Gold can be exchanged into cash balance. Since you only have 300 Task Gold, your balance would be $9.00 USD (600 Cash Back Gold+300 Task Gold).
If you have 500 confirmed Cash Back Gold and 0 Task Gold, then your balance would be $5.00 USD (500 Cash Back Gold+0 Task Gold).
If you have 1200 confirmed Task Gold and 0 Cash Back Gold, then your balance would be $0 USD (because you don't have any Cash Back Gold).
That is to say, if you earned 500 Cash Back Gold then you can easily redeem 1000 Gold as long as you earn another 500 Task Gold by doing tasks provided inside the Coupert extension.

How to withdraw my balance?

Why didn't I receive the payment after withdrawal?

You may check your withdrawal status on the Redeem Page. The following explains the different states of the withdrawal.
Rejected:
• There may be the following situations:
   1. The cashback amount of some orders was miscalculated.
   2. You canceled the order or returned some products so that the cashback of the corresponding orders were also be canceled.
   3. Sometimes the products you purchased don’t comply with the cashback policy of the merchant.
The specific situation will be explained in detail in the email. If your withdrawal is rejected, please do not worry, we will only correct your cashback amount, the cashback you deserve is still in the account, you can re-initiate the withdrawal later.
Failed:
• For security concerns, you will receive a confirmation email if it’s your first time to initiate the withdrawal request (sometimes you may also receive the confirmation email if your account is abnormal). If you haven’t responded to the email in a long time, your withdrawal will be failed.
In another case, Coupert has transferred to your PayPal, but sometimes it requires you to manually receive the payment in your PayPal account. If you didn’t receive the payment in time, your withdrawal will also be failed.
Pending:
• Coupert is reviewing your withdrawal request, checking your account security and your orders, and confirming your withdrawal amount. Please be patient and pay attention to your email. When you make the first withdrawal, you need to reply to the confirmation email. You may also receive a confirmation email if your account is abnormal.
Confirmed:
• Your withdrawal request has been approved and the transfer will be completed within 3 working days. Please pay attention to your PayPal notifications in case you need to accept the payment manually in your PayPal account.
Paid:
• You have successfully withdrawn Coupert Gold into PayPal cash.

Why does not my Gold appear on my Coupert account?

If your Gold does not appear on your account, consider the following questions:
a. When did you make your purchase?
Coupert Gold transactions take about 1-15 days to appear in your account. So don't worry, it could still be processing behind the scenes! If you don't see your transaction in your account after 15 days, reach out to us at your earliest convenience.
b. Did you make a purchase from a shopping site that offers the reward?
Coupert Gold program isn't available at every shopping site, but we'll let you know if a site offers Coupert Gold. You can see a pop-up with Active Reward button. Also, when the Coupert Auto-Test does not find a valid code, the results page displays the Active Reward button in cash back stores.
c. Do you have another cash-back/reward program active on your browser?
When you use two or more cash-back/reward programs, the credit can only be attributed to one of us. We don't have a way of knowing which company will receive credit for your transaction.
d. Did you buy an item that does not offer the reward?
Exclusions are up to the sole discretion of the merchant. An item you purchased was not eligible for the offer.
e. You have not logged in the account. The account login is to track your order.
If none of these questions apply to your purchase, send us your receipt (as a screenshot or forward along the confirmation email) with the date of purchase, total price paid, and order number and we'll look into it for you!

Why is my Gold pending?

Transactions remain pending for 60-180 days while the merchant confirms your purchase and verifies that items from your order haven't been returned or refunded. If you do return part of your purchase, the amount of Coupert Gold you earn will adjust accordingly.
If you make a reservation on a travel site, you cannot receive gold until your reservation is completed. These pending periods are determined by the merchant. Once we receive confirmation that you'll earn Coupert Gold for the purchase (after the return window has ended or in the case of a travel reservation, when the stay is completed) our system automatically posts Gold to your account.

What is the handling fee when redeeming Coupert Gold via PayPal?

The handling fee for each transaction is $0.30 USD, plus 4.4% of the amount you will receive.

How is the Cash Back rate calculated?

If the cash bak rate of a store is 0.1 - 20% (We may use similar terminologies such as "Up to 20%" ), that is to say, the cash back rate varies from 0.1% to 20%.
The Cash Back rate is variable, depending on your order amount, the items and categorie of your purchase, and the store.
*The maximum cash back bonus for a single order is 20,000 Gold(=$200.00)

Does Coupert Gold expire?

Coupert Gold doesn't expire as long as your account remains active. We define an account as active if you earn the Gold, no matter how many, within a consecutive 12-month period.
